# About Vado Freight

Vado Freight sells LTL and truckload freight services to shippers who want a straight answer on price and one person who knows their account.

## How it works

Vado Freight LLC is an independent sales representative of Priority-1, Inc. (USDOT 2222837, MC-312916), a licensed and bonded freight broker. All freight is brokered by Priority-1, Inc. You get the reach of Priority1's national carrier network, and you deal with us directly.

Quotes, booking, and shipment status are in an online portal. If you'd rather email or call, that works too. Before we quote, we check class, weight, and accessorials, because that's where invoices usually stop matching quotes.

## What you get

- A direct line to the person handling your account, not a rotating rep
- Quoting, booking, and tracking online, or connected to your own systems
- Invoices checked against what was quoted
- Carriers checked for authority, insurance, and safety before they haul

## Background

Vado was founded by David Derringer, who has spent twenty years in freight, starting in UPS operations and moving through sales roles at UPS, GlobalTranz, Uber Freight, Descartes, and Expeditors. He has moved freight for shippers in consumer products, medical supplies, supplements, and metals.
